Parents and Friends of Trinity (PAFT)

The Parents and Friends of Trinity (PAFT) are the Parents and Teachers Association for Trinity Lewisham. Our aim is to support the School and raise money for the benefit of the school's children.

As a Parent/Carer of a Child at the School you are automatically a member of the Parents and Friends of Trinity; and we welcome the support of the wider community in supporting Trinity.

PAFT is a formally constituted association with a managing committee comprising the following:

Secondary School

Chair – Vacant

Deputy Chair – Vacant

Treasurer – TBC

Deputy Treasurer – TBC

Secretary – TBC

Each year at the AGM, a Chair, Co Chair, Treasurer and Secretary are elected. Click here for role descriptions.

All parents, carers and interested members of the community are welcome to attend meetings and to help organise and run events. We welcome new ideas and support, but if you cannot make it to meetings due to other commitments there are still ways you can stay connected and involved. Keep an eye on this section for information, texts and emails are also sent out.

Who decides how the money is spent?

The PAFT Management Committee decides upon this. The Head teacher makes requests to the PAFT for funds as required.

Why should I get involved?

Each half term we aim to hold at least one event – please see below for details of upcoming events.

What can I do?

Thank you for visiting this page! There are many ways you can be involved.

Perhaps you could help run the refreshments table at one of our events or meet and greet parents during the annual carol concert. We are always in need of people to serve, clean up, decorate(!) and promote events. The change from primary to secondary can be scary for us parents so why not come along to a PAFT meeting and get to know the school a little better?

Want to fundraise or donate? We are always looking for opportunities to tap into the rich resources of our wider community to benefit the Trinity. If you are a caterer or work for a catering firm, could your firm donate the profits if you were to cater one of our events? Can you donate items to sell? Have a holiday home - we could add a weekend stay as a prize for a raffle. And don't forget prizes for the raffles; if you can't help at an event can you give to the Christmas Hamper or offer a top prize? There are ALWAYS ways for you to be involved.

You may choose to donate money directly to the School and we gratefully welcome these donations, large and small! If you would like to donate in this way, please make cheques payable to Trinity Secondary School and hand it to reception. You can choose if you want your donation to be acknowledged publically or not.

We also accept donations from parents of equipment (for example, where a parent's business are disposing of relatively new computers). If you think you have equipment that might be of use to the school, please contact us to discuss it.
